SANGRIA HAS RE-ARRIVED

While still in keeping with its original theme, Sangria has updated its style with a creative new remodel that simply must be seen. For over 15 years our loyal staff has been providing consistent, excellent food service and entertainment to the South Bay. That is why Sangria has become a South Bay beach area icon. Founded by locals with over 70 years of restaurant experience between them, this timeless venue has hosted events that have raised over $3,000,000 for local and national charities.

Dining that will not disappoint

The menu at Sangria is truly diverse and never boring. You can enjoy world-class cuisine in our spacious restaurant without ever feeling rushed or crowded. With an exciting mix of tastes from the Spanish Mediterranean to the Baja Peninsula each succulent dish is prepared with care. The tenderloin of beef is a must try! Sizzling and dripping with a sweet Jack Daniels glaze, this steak simply melts in your mouth. Blue cheese crumbles add a tangy punch to this dish, which is finished with fresh, healthy green spinach sautéed with garlic and a large scoop of creamy mashed potatoes. The fish is always fresh at Sangria. Try the grilled Ono with a fresh strawberry mango salsa and grilled asparagus. For lunch on the weekends you can enjoy watching your favorite team on one of our 12 flat screens while you dine on an authentic Baja fish taco or build your own burger complete with all of your favorite fixings.

Our seasoned staff has hosted just about every type of event imaginable. From weddings to retirement parties, concerts to corporate events, film shoots to fundraisers and kids birthdays to bridal showers, we've done it all. Located on the famous Hermosa Beach Pier Avenue Promenade, just steps from the sand, Sangria offers a unique setting that you simply won't find elsewhere. This expansive restaurant can accommodate parties of up to 375 people. Our original atmosphere with unique touches like a bullfighters outfit acquired by one of the owners from a renowned bullfighter from Mexico, makes Sangria's design much more interesting than a banquet space in some corporate hotel.

Entertainment for all ages

Surrounded by this romantic and creative ambiance, families, couples, and potential couples can savor exotic dishes and drinks while enjoying the passion of flamenco dance on Tuesday nights. If you like jazz, Sangria features all-star, often nationally recognized jazz talent on Wednesday evenings. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights you can mingle and dance to two different DJ's on one of our two separate dance floors.
